Material policy notice
ARES replaced generic legal shells with policies that now match current accounts, first-party analytics, newsletter consent, browser storage, data rights, image rights, score limitations, age controls, export, deletion, and legal-request behavior. New account access requires acceptance of the current Terms, acknowledgement of the Privacy Policy, and age confirmation.

Acceptance and notification process
- Each public policy carries an immutable version and effective date.
- The production policy registry identifies the current required versions.
- Material changes produce a sitewide notice.
- Account access can require renewed acceptance before a passwordless code is issued.
- Accepted versions are recorded against the verified account after sign-in.
- Prior versions remain identifiable through the policy register and source history.
Current operational commitments
- Production billing remains disabled.
- First-party analytics uses no analytics cookies and no third-party advertising pixels.
- Raw analytics retention is limited to 90 days; aggregates may be retained for 730 days.
- Passwordless codes expire after 10 minutes; account sessions normally expire after 30 days.
- Newsletter signup requires separate consent and uses Substack for publication delivery.
- Account export and deletion controls are available to signed-in users.
- ARES Score is not a transfer fee; Market Score is not an official valuation.
- Users under 13 may not create accounts, subscribe, or submit personal information.
Future changes
Live billing, new advertising technology, materially different analytics, new communications providers, institutional data processing, AI research features, or new localization requirements must trigger policy review before production activation. Documentation alone does not authorize a new processing activity.
